Good news to share is that SpiritPlants Chat has a radio announcement bot that announces the current show or song every 30 minutes. A small but definite improvement in promoting station. While taking these two weekends off from new weekend programming, I will be reaching out in a number of directions for new DJs, new shows, and new listeners. Will report on the fruit of these efforts soon.

Peace,

Concluding Jan 09's Scheduled Programming

This weekend's programming in part celebrated the 10th anniversary on-air/online for my show "Within's Within: Scenes from the Psychedelic Revolution." There was a new episode of this show, plus five episodes ranging from 2004 to 2008.

The scheduled programming included:

*New* Original SpiritPlants Radio programming: "Within's Within: Scenes from the Psychedelic Revolution"
*Classic* episodes of "Within's Within: Scenes from the Psychedelic Revolution" from 2004-2008
*New* Original SpiritPlants Radio programming: "Japan is Dumb: The Exotic Musical Stylings of DJ Lain"
*New* Original SpiritPlants Radio programming: "ShamanicFreedomRadio with Opaquelens": Episode 8: Under the Carpet
*New* Original SpiritPlants Radio programming: "Children of Hurin by J.R.R. Tolkien with DJ Lucious"

The challenge faced at this point is how to attract more listeners to this fine content. A few things are in the works. A radio bot for the SpiritPlants Chat, one that announces every so often what is playing on the station, and the listen link. Also an embedded radio player for the radio page and for the SpiritPlants.org main page. Also wondering about how to get connected to podcast listings. Anyway, it was a good month of programming, weekdays and weekends alike. On now into February, and new efforts for new success.
