End of 2008 & Start of 2009 Weekend Broadcasts

Hi All,

SpiritPlants Radio celebrates the close of 2008 and start of 2009 with Free Form Weekends featuring:

***Within's Within: Scenes from the Psychedelic Revolution
***Japan is Dumb: The Exotic Musical Stylings of DJ Lain
***ShamanicFreedomRadio with Opaquelens
***Tripology with DJ Tom Ellis

DJ Iopan will be running the radio this coming weekend and the first one in January. I am keeping an occasional eye on the stream, but am also traveling. So it's kind of a vacation, time to re-charge batteries, and figure some new ideas for the station in the new year. Been a good experiment. Soon time to jack in again for the longer haul.

One last: the sidebar list here has been updated to include current shows' broadcast information.

Peace to all,

5th Weekend of Programming, New Shows, etc.

Hi all,

SpiritPlants Radio arrives near year's end having really come a long way. A new electronica show debuts this week, Tripology with DJ Tom Ellis. My show, "Within's Within: Scenes from the Psychedelic Revolution" is new, as is "Japan is Dumb: the Exotic Musical Stylings of DJ Lain." Also new is "ShamanicFreedomRadio," this week Opaquelens conducts his first podcast interview with J.D. Arthur, author of "Peopled Darkness - perceptual changes through Salvia Divinorum."

And thanks as always to DJ Iopan for keeping the stream flowing all week! You rock, brother!

On the horizon, we are working on getting low speed connection for people with dial-up who can't access the current higher speed connection.

Hitting 2009 running, and what a couple of months it's been getting this far!

Peace to all,
Station Manager

New shows this week on SpiritPlants Radio!

Hooked up with two new DJs this week:

ShamanicFreedomRadio with Opaquelens:
Episode 1: Introduction | Episode 2: Epping Forest

Electronica by DJ Abrahm:
Action Potential v. 3.0—Mindoutpsyde

Exciting to have these new DJs on board! Next weekend is the last of the great experiment, and I think the following weekend may be highlights from all that has come so far. Then we think over what it's been like, and decide what next.

Third Weekend of Programming Changes and Comments

Last weekend's schedule went well though I have decided the work and time to create and monitor 48 hours of weekend programing is too much to handle...cut down to 36...also cut out the olde tyme radio show...might still put it into schedule sometimes, but not this month again...also DJ Iopan is now streaming during the week so that is really good news...and working on getting more DJs into the weekend half way through the six weekend experiment, really figuring a few things out...more soon...
